Conduct a search of professional journal articles related to your topic of interest. **Make sure that the article contains the sections required that show it contains information on how the research was conducted especially the sections Methods; Participants. See below. Original research is usually written by the experimenter or researcher and contains a step by step descriiption of how the research or experiment was conducted. This includes how participants were selected, the procedure and results. It contains sections within the article that describes each step of conducting the research.
Read the article carefully
1. Write your review of the article including the following:
a. An introduction identifying the hypothesis of the research and the reason that the researcher chose to conduct the research. Note: the hypothesis should be clearly identified as such. If there is no hypothesis the article should have research questions that you can identify. The article must have either a hypothesis or research questions.
b.A detailed descriiption of the procedures of the research including the types of groups used . If no groups are used the number and type of participants must be included. Identify the independent and dependent variables or the correlational relationships including the type of correlation. The purpose of the research should be identified if there are no variables or type of correlation.
c.The results of the research including whether the hypothesis was proven or the research questions answered.
d. Your opinion of the research including why you chose the article. Include responses to the following questions: What caught your attention or interest? Did the findings surprise you? Why or why not? Do you feel that the research is relevant and/or significant?
